I actually came in and had no idea what the score was.
So you're a douche and kinda slow?

Look recon, you have exactly 1 more post on this board like this and you're getting the request to not post here again. You've never posted anything even unbiased on this board.
Please don't test my patience with posts like the one above. I've been more than lenient with your posting on this board.
Like Ghost In the Machine has said, the place for smack-talking is on the main boards.
But seriously though, did he just get called up? I haven't heard of him before.

There is nothing that points to us making the playoffs this year. It feels like 2009 again. That said, as fans we don't need a reason to believe; we just do. Let's pick up a game or two before the Friday series against AZ, and then let's sweep those D-Backs. Feel free to tell me that you are sick of my unrelenting optimism.
No man, that's the way to be...underneath my shatting I'm still hoping against hope. It's just like you said, nothing points the way. Doesn't stop us from hoping and rooting and praying. But it will be what it will be.
I repeat:
Cousins, Huff, Torres, Ross, Tejada = missing the playoffs after winning it all (probably)
As much as our offense means we are never a good thing to beat anyone, our pitching means we are hardly ever out of game, as much as i think we are done, I still beleive we would be a bad match up in the first round of the playoffs and a good upset chance.
If I have to be honest I just can't see the team making it unless the offense takes off some...let's face it...our pitching is fantastic, but unfortunately our lineup makes every other scrub pitcher out there as good as ours...
My gut tells me that the offense is going to start swinging it big soon. Led by Huff. He needs redemption and I think Burrell's going to give him that jolt.
I want you to be right....I really do...and I wouldn't be so concerned if the offense had been ok and went into a slump....but the offense was horrible..and got freakin' worse!
Same. I'm not saying this like some blinded fan. My gut says that, but I would not be at all surprised if the trend continues downward.
But you think, they can't continue to hit this bad can they?
Well, we were saying the same thing a month ago...I personally went from thinking 'Huff and Ross are pros, they will have a decent 2nd half and we'll be ok' to 'no time left, this is what they are this year...'

Other than Huff's seemingly miracle 3 homer game...he hasn't had a hot streak all year....same with Ross...
I realize that the hitters are the guys in the batters box...but it's to the point they are in their own heads so much I just don't see it happening this year. This is where I blame the hitting coach...he needs to be able to pull these guys out of this...and hasn't. Two years..two years of piss poor approach at the plate...
Time for a change? Or, how can they not change?
Maybe the Giants hired the wrong "Bam Bam"....is Barney Rubble's son available?
Except, Bam Bam has a World Series ring, so if he wasn't the problem last year I can't say he is this year. I'm in the 'hitting coaches are mostly ornamental' camp anyway. Gotta lay it on the players.
