I'm iffy about signing a 30 year old to a long term deal, but that's probably just RoRo sickness.

This is just spit-balling number wise here, but i'd rather pay Melky and Pence 5/60 each, than have one 32 year old 6+/120+ albatross on our hands. Less years, less money, two above average players filling the corners vs one guy who WILL not be worth that deal half way through.

There is no comparison between Rowand and Pence. Rowand had one good year out of 11, Pence is 6/6! Don't let Rowand get into your head man!

This game is tough to watch bc of Cain's struggles. Kruk and Kuip keep mentioning tired arm in reference to his struggles. If that's the case, I'd almost rather see Kontos eat innings then see Cain potentially hurt himself trying to nut up and get through this rough patch. If Cain ain't right, this team ain't going nowhere.
