Why is Pagan out ?

Pavolic indicates it is a rest. Combined with yesterday's day off, it gives him two days off in a row. He has only missed four games so far.

— I would assume that Angel Pagan is purely getting a game off, which would be just his fourth of the season. Manager Bruce Bochy has been looking for a good chance to get Pagan a couple days. With the off day yesterday, Pagan gets a full two-day break to recharge his batteries. He’s taking BP right now and looks fine.
