Agreed. He's 36 next week. Over 2700 career innings. I admire him, and his words now, but, c'mon.

On the other hand, ya gotta admire Mariano Rivera - 43 years old to rehab like he did, and now he has 11 saves already, second in the AL, with a 2.19 ERA. His was a knee injury, but still - amazing. He is a hugely admirable person, on and off the field.

Rivera's been my favorite non-Giant player for a while now.

Pegs has been way too aggressive at the plate. He usually has 2-3 pitch at bats. Kid needs to calm down and do a little working the count. Especially with, wait for it, RISP.
