Am I crazy to think that Vernon could allow our offense to destroy a Tampa-2? That seam route that he and Alex do so well will either be open all day, or will force the MLB to drop deeper than usual to take it away and open up the middle for Hunter, Gore and the WRs.

I guess it still depends on the line to make room for Hunter, Gore, etc.

I was thinking more for the short passing games with option and circle routes, not so much the run game.

Aah, I see now. Sounds like a good plan, my hope is that the early conservatism on the offense is just part of Harbaugh's master plan to slowly built up the confidence and mastery of Smith and the rest of the offense and today we'll see more of an opening up of the offense in general.
