2 Days!

Nice running catch by Burrell there. I thought off the crack of the bat he had NONE chance.

Burrell heads up base running. Kouz had a long throw from deep in third base and he waited for him to make the throw to bolt for the 3rd base bag. Too bad there is 2 two outs.

watching the game on the mlb website

A's announcers are terrible - they cheered for Suzuki's non-homer

How is it that one Kuip brother calls such a great game, while the other sounds like a TBS announcer?

I expect he or Fosse to say at any moment, "Nice chip in for par there."

I completely agree. The other Kuiper sounds soooooo dull. Fosse isn't as bad, I think he just can't feel off of Glen's energy (or lack of). I've heard Fosse do a game with Jon Miller and Kruk and he was more lively and more enjoyable.

The A's player interviews are dry also. Dear lord.

BTW: I hope the A's have a great year this year. ;)

do I dare say it?

Zito looking good. Fastball has a bit of zip and curve is dropping in with nice action.

*As I was typing this, Zeets goes 3-0 and gives up a single down the line, lol

A's games were always the cure for insomnia for me.

It's spring training.. I'm trying out new positions to make it on the 25 man roster

Who was it a year ago that made a fictional starting line-up made up ESPN regulars? Laguna?

It was a great thread. Not sure if we have enough regulars on here just yet, but we might be able to get a starting 9 and a few starters.

I got Filo as the lumbering 1st baseman, batting 5th, who leads the team in RBIs...Shit, this needs to be a separate thread.

Oh that vaguely rings a bell

great idea

How about tzill as the starting lefty (for obvious reasons) leading the league in ejections :)
