Had to give baby a bath so paused it a little at the end of the first... all caught up now.

Good thing Marleau was decent on the PK and had that nice rush up there to set up Mitchell because otherwise, I was just going to say I don't remember him having this bad a game in YEARS.

Me too. Marleau has looked horrible this game other than a couple of shifts.

Nice win. Wasn't all pretty, particularly from the middle of the first to the middle of the second, but the Sharks finally broke through and took over. Very nice to do it against Dallas. Slump buster is 2 for 2.

The Sharks don't see these fuckers again until February. Awesome!

Good win. I understand that you can't expect perfection but I just don't get this team. I'm really not sure how to judge them, I don't know if they are legitimate cup contenders because I don't know which team is going to show up. I just really hope that this teams best shot at the cup wasn't these last two seasons and that they have much MUCH more to give. Scoring 5 goals on Andrew Raycroft, doesn't mean you're out of the woods yet. There are still many things these guys have to do better and consistently to be taken seriously as cup contenders.

The thing that killed me on that 2 man advantage is that McLellan left Thornton's line out there almost the entire time. Sorry, but the 2nd line has been much better and deserved to be out there. I almost threw my remote through the TV after watching Joe and his line make turnover after turnover on that PP.

The Sharks sucked less than the Stars lastnight and that's the reason the Sharks won. The Sharks really need to learn to accept a pass on the rush, and not have to puck bounce of their sticks like its a rubber ball. And what's with passing the puck into each others skates all the time? Does Todd not have pass drills while they are skating? This is hockey not soccer.
