WTF is with White and Clowe passing it right to a Ducks player in front of the net?

Are you talking about on the Ducks goal? That was Desjardins failing to pick the guy up in front of the net.

No im talking about the play where he decided to bend over and put his stick on the ice then proceeded to get walked around wide badly. He had position and took himself out of it with that stupid move, stay on your feet and close the man off on tge boards

Ugh. I missed that and thankfully so it sounds like.

Colin white still sucks and i like the third line, and havlat needs to get well fast so wingels can go back to the 3rd line

I would have liked to see Vandermeer in this game. He's a better skater and a bit more gritty.

I liked the 3rd line when McGinn was still being used on it with Mitchell and Handzus. With Wingels on it not so much.

Let's operate our PP with 3 guys above the circles, that's the recipe for success!

White is working hard to be the whipping boy in my eyes. I was not impressed by his play in game 1 and it has carried over to game 2. He needs to accept that he cannot make the kind of plays that require eyes in the back of your head. Just make the safe play and get the puck out. Stop trying to be Boyle or Demers. Let's see what Vandy has got to offer.

I love the way Mitchell has looked so far in games 1 and 2. He may never have great hands but his speed almost always guarantees a safe offensive zone entry. I think the 4th line has drawn two PP chances for the Sharks. One by Winchester one by AMurray. Good stuff by them.

This is the sharks' lack of depth up front on full display. Having all of wingels, mcginn, mitchell, desjardins, winchester, and murray in your starting lineup means absolutely no offensive depth. Most of those guys are really AHL fodder on a reasonably deep team. Granted, when havlat comes back, it should make a big difference, but handzus will be lucky to pot 10 this year at his age and I would be surprised to see anyone else on that list hit double digits.

Its very early, and it's easy to fix in the trade market, but I'm sure that we will see a fair number of very low scoring games early in the year until dougie starts shopping in late november and december for some depth up front.

Wingels looks spent already, wonder if marleau gave everyone the hiv

Lol wait until havlat returns before you get your panties in a wad over te 3rd line. Hadzus is good for 15g and 30pnts.

Eh, the talent level is fine... most other teams aren't stacked on all four lines either.

The "effort" and sloppy passing is just absolute shit, though. It's like these guys never practiced/played with each other...

Burns. Missed a body check. I've seen that before. Marleau skated right by him as a Wild

Griess has been solid hasn't he? Two Doan PP blasts and tonight's tough goal to stop.
