Well fellas, the wife has me scheduled for another activity. (And not the MSG kind. :()

I really hate to leave this glorious game, but duty calls.

It's all on you, now.

Oh, and check in on ghost's attempt at a post. Don't post there, just look in on him. He'll probably be lonely.

I say you schedule your wife for another time! Yes listen to me, you know you want to. I'm sure your marriage counselor would side with you siding with random internet poster guy over your wife.

ok - Lynn is throwing 90-94 and Zito - 80-84 ..... I have to assume that the screwed up zone really has to help Lynn and doesn't do much for Zeets

It's more a lefty/righty thing. Most umps force lefties to cover off the plate outside. This ump has widened that even a bit more. This allows lynn to wrap breaking pitches way off the edge and still get a strike to the Giants lefties. If Zito tried that his natural movement is going to move that ball away from the plate and he's less likely to get the call. He could throw a two-seamer off the edge and hope it backs up for a strike call. Bottom line this ump's zone favors righties pitching to a lefty lineup.

Yeah that's not good.

Shockingly enough, the Giants are getting no-hit tonight.

Highly unusual? McGwire did it and Panda does it. I do not think it is that unusual...
