Going well. Just spent a week at Lake Tahoe. Still adjusting to two new hip joints. Six month followup is Wednesday. Probably going to need some more PT. Too much time sitting in front of a computer screen watching Giants' baseball!

Panda is our best hitter in terms of skill, but maybe our worst hitter in terms of discipline. For the past week or two, he has been going up and hacking at the first pitch, no matter where it is. He just struck out this inning, but he swung at three pitches that were balls, and could have easily drawn a walk. Perhaps as he matures, he will be more selective.

Brewers' baserunning has been atrocious this series. Not that I mind, but how many bonehead mistakes can a team possibly make on running the bases?

He did see 8 pitches, I will give you that. But that swinging at the first pitch approach is getting him into an early hole. And swinging at the eye high pitches has got to stop. We need his production in order to be competitive.
