back-to-back no-man's-land bloops followed by a cardboard cutout K. Cainer can be happy with his 1 ER given up with this hits, though.

And Anderson has looked HORRIBLE. First 2 innings, he could not find the strike-zone, and now he gets the Giants to get themselves out with early pitch swinging...

It's gotta be hard to throw a strike in this situation sometimes, as seen by Cain.

You know the pitcher is not going to swing so all you need to do is throw a strike, but all you need to do is over think it and he gets a walk.

Sinker-baller, as you probably gathered. I think he (if Runzler makes the ML roster) will be one of the first guys summoned from the minors if we need it. He will surely be a Sept. callup though.

You could always use a sinker baller in the Pen... maybe not with our left side defense though.

Good numbers last year. 2.38 era, with some saves and decent SO numbers. WHIP is a little high.

Yeah he hands out a lot of walks and as a sinker baller, he'll automatically give up a few more hits than a fly ball pitcher would. But, he can get 2 outs with 1 pitch, which makes him useful.
