I said preseason I thought Purdue was over rated(most years I think this) and todays game seemed to further highlight that.

That said, what a gritty comeback. Thought it was gonna be our annual Gavitt game blow out loss. Won it.

Long ways to go. Need consistent scoring outside Markus. Kobe emerged in the 2nd half. We will need more.

D could be elite though if we can get Jace back soon

Kobe could take some of the pressure off Howard to create offense.

With the Hausers it was more catch and shoot, or the ball dies with them.

They're less talented but more dynamic.

Its going to be interesting forsure. We are a better team at the start of this year than we were at the start of last year. But we got in a good groove quickly last year. Will see if this team can.

Last year we melted down. The problems left. Sam especially was a huge piece, but its better overall they just moved on.

Having McEwen and Elliot is already huge for Markus though. Purdue is an awful match up. Last year Markus shoots 7-23 with 7 TOs. This year, 19 pts on 12 shots with 2 TOs. He didnt have the ball in his hands all game vs length. He played off the ball.

Hopefully we have a good year. I think we have a higher ceiling than last year, but could also be just very average all year long as well.

Good show by Seton Hall. Fought tooth and nail against probably still the best team in the country. Kudos to them.
