special teams and the secondary...can we fire all of them? Congrats Nebraska.

looks like UGA is going to be the only blemish on what could have been a perfect bowl season.

Georgia played the game missing a lot of players and especially Murray. Just him in there alone would have sealed the deal. Todd Gurley played as hard as he could, but he started the game hurt. Probably should not have used him so much early on. Nebraska won, but they won over a team missing a lot of people. I understand about the no excuse thing; just sorry to see Georgia show up under manned.

They are saying that there were over 60,000 in attendance.

Obviously, a lot of no shows.

Like I say, it's not a CFB season unless Georgia and Wisconsin are overrated.

I love this excuse. As if Nebraska wasn't missing a ton of players due to injuries too.

Good thing Taylor Martinez had such a great game throwing to our TE while being protected by our AA guard. :laugh3:

Sorry but I like to think UGA's were a little worse...which is why most of the UGA fans I know didn't give a shit about this game. It's a little hard to really care when your half your starters aren't playing...Hell this was a warm up for our possible starting qb next yr to see how good he'd be(not impressed)

Anyways congrats Nebraska I guess

When Wisconsin lost Stavi(FOR 1 QTR) all the Wisconsin fans made it a point to mention that and most of us agreed they had a point. Murray, a much better quarterback didn't play along with a host of other players. A healthy Georgia team pounds Nebraska by 30 plus and everyone outside the Big10 knows it. Too bad some of the Husker fans could not win with a little class.

Yes, Georgia had more out for injuries and disciplinary reasons than Nebraska did.

I was stunned that Richt didn't kick a field goal when only behind 5 points with 4-5 minutes to play. Nebraska hadn't successfully mounted a drive on them all day and a three and out would give them the ball back for a game winning FG.

They went for it on fourth, didn't get it, Nebraska went three and out (as expected), Georgia got the ball back and drove inside NU's 30. Which would have been game winning FG range.

I was shaking my head.

Yes and still don't know how he got away from the state?

May of already been said but,

He grew up an Auburn fan, wanted to play for Auburn but Auburn held out to long. By the time they gave him an offer he had already given a verbal to Nebraska.

Said he was a man of his word and would honor the commitment to Nebraska

Straight up great guy.

Its been years since Auburn played Nebraska would love to see them play again.
Wasn't it '06 Cotton Bowl? 14-17 Auburn, good game. I remember my Dad wanting Callaturd's head after that one. LOL

How would that 4th quarter have played out if Jamal Turner doesn't drop that TD pass from our back up QB in the first half?

A few observations: Shouldn't back up college receivers be able to catch the ball? All they have to do is catch the ball and you win! :noidea: I was watching all the games, so didn't catch any complete game, although I watched this one the most, and I saw at least 6 drops and some were huge! You might also want to cut down on those 99.9 yard td passes. They can hurt. Also, touchdowns are better than field goals. I'm not a Georgia fan but losing a game in this manner would be almost as bad as losing to a returned missed field goal, like that happens a lot. :laugh3:

I gotta think that with both starting QBs out that very greatly benefited Nebraska.
