That's about right if we don't have a 100% Vernon Davis. We have a great defense but a tired defense if the offense can't produce.

We have to roll 150-200+ yards rushing on these guys to pull out a win imo. The Saints can be run against and it kills two birds with one stone by keeping Brees on the sideline. Hopefully VD will be back to keep them honest on defense or this will be tough game to win.

Moody was tagged with short term IR with designation to return earlier in the year. Harbs said he might be activated this week. Kyle Williams is supposed to be waived. So maybe for moody?

Agreed ,this is a pivotal game. The 9ers need to prove that they can beat a possible playoff team on the road as well as showing they can score against a top ten defense. V. Davis is needed in this game.

This implies the 49ers or Davis might try to circumvent the NFL concussion protocol to get him to play no matter what. I find that unlikely, doesn't a third party have to declare them eligible to play?

Yes it does. I would not put it past any NFL team to give one of their most imortant players every opportunity to play.

He needs to pass to play for sure. Last I heard he was being tested yesterday. No word yet that I know of. Reid is of more concern due to having two concussions in one season.

Can't count on Davis being there. He looked terrible. McDonald seriously has to step his game up.

I believe he was a 6th round pick this last draft. They must like him since he made the team. Could also be so were not so thin at ILB?
