I’ll just say it.....I’m satisfied with the ending.

The shame of it is that the rushed and abbreviated journey to get here was so god fucking awful. It’s like when you go on a vacation and getting there is such a fucking disaster....but then the vacation goes off well.

The treatment they gave all main characters was fantastic. The Dany heel turn was such an abortion that I can get her outing being weird. Had we had more time to explore that turn this would make more sense. Simple fact in the end.....she torched an entire city and felt justified in doing it. That bat shit crazy that has to be stomped out.

A little off on the Bran ascension...but the logic of the keeper of memories being tasked with someone finally doing the right thing holds true. All are in places they need to be.

Sansa has the north free. Jon will be happy further north. Arya always was destined to be one that wanders and explores. After all the shit the Stark children went through this was a very fitting send off

I came in expecting it to go out like a wet fart. But for me they stuck the landing much better than I had imagined possible.

I'm also mostly satisfied with the ending overall, especially with Sansa's, Arya's and Jon's faiths. Sansa got what she wanted and deserved, Arya became a kick-ass explorer and Jon went to the only place where was really happy. They should have shown us a nice redheaded curiously staring at him.

Stuff I can't wrap my head around:

1. Why would the other lords accept a Northener as their king when the north is not part of the kingdom.
2. Why would Grey Worm accept that council and their decisions, when he didn't even get any say?
3. Related to the previous post, why didn't Grey Worm kill Jon? Why did he keep Jon as a prisoner after he murdered Dany?
4. Once the north declared independence, why would the other kingdoms (especially the Iron Born) accept to remain under Bran's rule?
5. What happened with the remaining Dothraki? Do they peacefully go back to Essos?
6. Why did Brianne stay in KL? Didn't she swear an oath to Sansa? Why isn't she on Sansa's Queensguard?

Biggest pussy of a dragon ever. Guy kills your mom and you melt a throne. Fucking stupid.

Thought there was GIANT symbolism in melting the throne and I was like, "The dragon fucking gets it!".... Then he flies off and the asshats name a ruler..... DOH! Listen to the fuckin dragon!!!

How did anybody know jon killed Dany?

That was my biggest complaint. I’m guessing he admitted it because they knew he stabbed her and the only way they would know that is if he told them. But it was retarded they skipped over all it.

The only way this episode could have been saved if at the end in the council metting Bran is talking to them and the room goes up in blue flame, killing everyone and the camera goes to Danni riding the dragon both with blue eyes.

End the fucker there.

Followed by Natalie Dormer doing the walk of shame nude. End of day I think we're on the same page, here.

I'm glad I spent my time watching six episodes that did a great book justice.

I watched Catch 22

I didn't like the direction the show went the last 3 episodes, but the show has been so great it may have just been impossible to meet expectations. I don't get Dany turning into someone who would murder thousands of innocent people. Didn't like that Arya didn't kill Cersei and then didn't kill Dany. Didn't get the story arc for Jon who was the obvious choice to be king. Love the show but that was a bogey to me

20 episodes instead of 13 would have explained it better.

1. Lotta reasons. He didn't want it. He is the 3ER and set it up. He spent enough time around the southern lords being creepy as fuck and they knew opposing him would be a bad idea. It was unsatisfying but unexpected.

2. He did. Otherwise Jon is Lord of the North.

3. He respects Jon and has a similar sense of duty. It's an inconsistency from earlier when he was cutting necks on Dani's order but Jon didn't defend Cersei so he wasn't on his list. Plus he was smart enough to realize offing him in during a state of chaos would only lead to more bloodshed. The unsullied love bloodshed but they played it smart here.

4. See no. 1. Iron Born are what they are but Yara is the best ruler they have had throughout the series and knows she is better off going with it.

5. They seem to be integrated into Westeros society. The unsullied went home but those guys were on the docks doing their thing. This is probably a pretty unimportant plot point. Generations from now white people in their universe will talk shit about being 1/64 dothraki.

6. Her oath was complete and she got the position she always wanted. Pod was complete fan service but everyone likes him and he made it through so all is well.

Honestly my biggest problem is we never found out what Pod did with the girls.

Good post overall but I got a tiny minor quibble here. The Unsullied didn't go home. They set a course of Missandei's homeland. It's implied Greyworm is venturing off to finish freeing the people of his deceased girlfriend. I thought that was actually a nice little touch they did there. He can't keep his promise the two of them had to live out their lives in peace together but now he will protect her homeland and ensure their peace.

Just look up all her nude scenes man.

NOT THE SAME. I WANTED MY NATALIE DORMER NUDE WALK OF SHAME. And HBO took that from me. How dare you try to justify their action, Duff!
