I’ll just say it.....I’m satisfied with the ending.

The shame of it is that the rushed and abbreviated journey to get here was so god fucking awful. It’s like when you go on a vacation and getting there is such a fucking disaster....but then the vacation goes off well.

The treatment they gave all main characters was fantastic. The Dany heel turn was such an abortion that I can get her outing being weird. Had we had more time to explore that turn this would make more sense. Simple fact in the end.....she torched an entire city and felt justified in doing it. That bat shit crazy that has to be stomped out.

A little off on the Bran ascension...but the logic of the keeper of memories being tasked with someone finally doing the right thing holds true. All are in places they need to be.

Sansa has the north free. Jon will be happy further north. Arya always was destined to be one that wanders and explores. After all the shit the Stark children went through this was a very fitting send off

I came in expecting it to go out like a wet fart. But for me they stuck the landing much better than I had imagined possible.

I was fine with where all the characters ended up, but I think another couple episodes would've really made the show go out with a bang instead of a 'ehhh okay?' reaction from myself.

I doubt it. The general consensus seems to be that this season has sucked. It doesn't take a genius to see how badly the show has fallen off and how neatly that coincided with the end of source material.

I think it goes the other way, and less of the prequel shows get a chance. D&B already were announced as getting control of Star Wars (or what is left of it, if the next one is as bad as the last) and a bunch of the episode writers/directors are being penciled in as head MF's in charge of other upcoming fantasy shows. I can see some of that stuff gets walked back a bit.

I liked episode's 1,2,3 and 5. Those were good and I enjoyed them a good deal.

4 was ok but it was only a prelude for #5. Episode 6 was just a dull ending. I just watched the last episode of the Big Bang Theory and it was like that although that made more sense for that show.

Completely unmemorable.

It didn't need to be 1 hr and a half.

I mean just end the episode, introduce the producers/directors and stuff with on screen credits - I mean I'm being respectful, and then just cut to Natalie de-robing.
