Sansa asked Littlefinger where he thought Arya got possession of the note, and Littlefinger played stupid..... so now, all that Arya needs to do is finally relent and tell Sansa where she got the note, and Littlefinger will be exposed......this will probably happen during the season finale.

The undead waiting for the ice to re-freeze before attacking indicates that wights cannot swim and would probably sink...... however, later during the fight, the wights were popping up through the hole in the ice in an attempt to grab Tormund and pull him under. Then at the end, the undead clearly were able to dive under water and attach heavy chains onto the dragon corpse..... also, where the fuck did they get those massive chains?

Couldn't wait. I tried but the excitement (and boredom) got to me. I gave in and found it online.There's some good quality ones out there

I won't talk much about it so as not to spoil it other than to say IT'S FUCKING AWESOME. I'd say 80% of the episode is north of the Wall, the other 20 is some Winterfell and Dragonstone business. There's some good character conversations among "The Magnificent Seven", Tormund especially.

I'll also say that there's gonna be a couple of moments that people will bitch about though I'm not sure its really that big of a deal. The first one is in regards to certain travel aspects but the show has never addressed the speed of travel so its not earth shattering. I'm not sure the books ever really address it either but I could be wrong (I'm terrible remembering book details). The other involves the logic of dead people. If you're mad about this part, re-read that sentence again and really think about it. The logic of dead people. Now get over it. The last one...well, that one really is some deus ex machina when this character shows up out of nowhere but I'll forgive it. It's sort of cheap but at the same time, sort of believable. Oh, one last thing. Apparently hypothermia doesn't exist lol.

Overall, its great. I'll gladly watch it again on Sunday

Does GOT lose money? I know it is the only reason I subscribe to HBO.

I heard the other day that the "main" characters (and no they didn't clarify who all that entailed) made 2.3 million per episode. And that each season of GoT is worth in excess of a billion dollars for HBO. I don't know how accurate that is, and whether that includes Netflix rights and possible syndication and things like that, or if they bring in a billion dollars of subscribers world wide?

George RR commented not too long ago that HBO had bought the rights to and/or has plans for up to 5 (I think was the number) different spin offs. He doesn't know which will even get made, much less which ones will air. But he claims he'll take a listing as executive producer but right now has zero plans to be involved at all. I would guess Dunk and Egg (a series of short novels he did that are kind of prequels to the books) and Roberts Rebellion would be two things high on the list to make a series from. Mostly because there is already some content there and direct tie ins to the show. Original conquering of Westeros (was that another Aegon?) Is probably another option. Maybe a direct sequel, but I think that would be a pure money grab. Don't know what other option s were discussed.

Yup. I keep hearing 2 conflicting stories. One is that there are only 13 episodes between this season and next season because there isn't much story left to tell. I also hear that the story gets condensed for these last 2 seasons because we only had 13 episodes left. Which is it?

Both kind of. And neither.

At the start of this season there were 13 episodes left. 7 episodes this season, 6 episodes next year. So now only 8 (or 7 for some of you) episodes left. But episode 6 this year is 70+ minutes. Episode 7 is 80+ minutes. Rumor is all 6 episodes in season 7 will be feature length. Although since nobody has seen the script yet, much less filmed and edited versions that could all be people's hopes and dreams.

Raises the dead and can covert the living to a whitewalker with a mere touch, controls the weather, can shape elements with his mind to use as weapons, control even non-white walkers with telekinesis.
Give me a break. They've jumped the shark with that.

The writing is just so shitty now. But I'll keep watching.

GRRM actually specifically stated the Robert's Rebellion would not be one of them. His reasoning being that by the time the show airs we would already know everything about Robert's Rebellion. Not too sure how that can be the case. If he's referring to it all being revealed in the books then his logic is quite flawed because why produce the GoT series in the first place when the majority of the content is based on the books? If he's suggesting it will all be revealed on the show, I can't imagine how that's going to happen with only 7 episodes to go and with so much yet to be resolved in the main timeline.

I think Bran was the one with all the power there. I think he was warging them all simultaneously. Then when the NK looked up at them/him it freaked him out and he stopped warging, so the crows just went back to doing their own thing.

It all depends on how fast ravens fly, which has never really been addressed. If they can make it in a day or two, it's believable because you can say the Night King waited a couple of days to attack (he waited at least one). But its still pushing it. A raven would have to make it to Dragonstone in a day and then its basically another day for Dany to fly up.
