Sir Robin Of Camelot
You seem angry. Miserable, even.
Just heard HBO Spain accidentally showed Episode 6 tonight.
LOL!
LOL!
How the hell do you "accidentally" broadcast a show?

My god, episode 6 must be a marathon of action and revels. Shit hits the fan fast.
I thought "Epic" described Episode 4. Sounds like this is Epic on Steriods.
It doesn't matter how expensive it is, as long as it is profitable. The reduced the number of episodes to stay within the budget, but I don't understand the need to wrap things up in just one more season. Maybe D&D are just tired and want to move on to other projects/take a break once their contract is up.Because they committed to staying true to the books (that's why they got the show in the first place), and also because it's already the most expensive TV show in history.
They're going to spin it off apparently, but I'd imagine that sequels will be much less ambitious expense wise.

Can anyone explain to me what the fucking rush is?
I can't imagine HBO is saying "alright guys, you know this wildly popular show we're doing? We gotta wrap this shit up pronto."
Because they'd have to make up stuff to put in the extra season(s). They've already cut out whole storylines, they can't add them back in now.
They don't need to add any new storylines... Just don't rush the ones they are working with. Heck,, even some filler would have been nice, like developing the relationship between Jorah and Jon on their way to Eastwatch. Maybe that's not enough for a full extra-season, but thinks would be flowing in a better way and it would give us a better sense of how much time is passing.
As just one example, they could've shown us how the hell they managed to sail and land that massive Dothraki army undetected, or they could have built the tension with Jaime knowing that a huge battle is coming, but being unable to do anything about it.
