Why do you always take a disagreement as a personal insult that requires this type of response? I think I made a valid arguement, if you disagree well you are certainly welcome to offer a response. You were confident no young QB played less, off the top of my head I pulled Wentz without even looking up others. So..... did Wentz play less and with signs of rust? Do Jets fans offer rust as the reason Geno Smith sucked?

Wentz, he is the guy we were supposed to be afraid would take over our division after 4 games?

I agree that it would not have hurt to have Cousins Cousin's play more in the preseason. Nothing takes the place of playing games, even if they are pre-season games.

There could be a lot of theories to the slow start. Maybe Cousins starts slow. Teams have more tape on him so the Redskins had to combat the changes.

JMO but I think SM would be hard pressed to find and equal or better QB right now. I have no clue if they plan on keeping him though.

Agree SM won't do better and should retain him, said this many times. And I have agreed he should have played more. But to give him a pass for that opener by putting it on rust is nonsense. Let's stop sugar coating the fact that he played poorly in that game and in 6 prime time games he has 9 TDs and 8 INTs.

Because he didn't play poorly in 6 prime time games. He played poorly in three and well in 3.

Like I said mixed results. And again maybe not as bad as I had originally feared but I also think being 50/50 is certainly not good enough. And sorry, saying it was rust so we should excuse the poor performance is complete nonsense IMO.

How many of those games were from late last season when he was playing well? How many of those games were after week2 this season when he has been playing well. The prime time game thing is garbage.

Sorry, rust is an excuse I'm not buying.

timing is purdy important when it comes to QB & their WR

something you can not work out without live bullets and live games.

i am not going to search the interwebs to backup my argument ... but ...

i would bet as the NFLPA has negotiated for less contact in preseason combined with coaches just straight up not playing starters in the preseason ... minus a quarter or two ...

i would suggest we have seen a HUGE drop off in production the first few weeks of the year as teams work out the kinks that would have been dealt with in preseason in the past.

my game ball goes Coach Gruden.

4th & 1.

On your side of the field.

That call single handily changed the game & possibly inspired the team for the rest of season.

My gasser goes to everyone on defense who missed a tackle ... go run a damn lap.

There were a lot of guys that played well on offense. As I said yesterday that took Nachos Grande to make that call. The players executed it but without that call the game might go the other way.
