Besides Jumbo's work on the first PP and a post by Pavs that should have been a goal, they've been hemmed in their own end all game If not for a good/lucky block by Jumbo (looked like the Ducks player shot it into his skate), they should have a -1 as well.

Line "3" has looked bad as well. It's just embarrassing how badly the Ducks top line owns the Sharks almost every game.

Been watching the whole game. Many lines have had chances both for and against the sharks. However, one line has scored for and one against. It's not coincidence after 9 minus games out of 18. Ryan is currently on the ducks' 3rd line.

The sharks' top line has had several good chances and jumbo DID block the shot and save a goal. that's the difference. He made the play and the ducks' top line, which is a realllly reallly tough matchup has not scored.

Bonino has 12 assists this season. 1/3 are in two games against the mitchell/moore combo.

Break down the actual results of nearly every recent sharks' game and its abundantly clear. If the sharks' bottom six is at least even, they win. If they are plus, they win for sure. If they are minus, then the top 6 have to be plus 2 or better. And let's face it, it's not the "4th" line that we're talking about because desi has been plus 3 times and minus three times (even) since after the tampa game.

When desi is +, sharks are 3-0. When he's minus, 0-3.

When moore is +, sharks are 2-1. When he's minus, they are 2-4-2 (2W, 6L).

Now line 4 is a minus. Bottom six was key to win vs. colorado and is killing the sharks, yet fucking again, this game.

How does that have anything to do with what I said earlier? Line 1 was and is getting hemmed in their own zone by the Ducks top line (save for 2 or 3 shifts).
