Zepp starting is a little bit of a surprise to me. Emery hasn't played all that great as of late but I would have thought he would get the call tonight.

On another note, it will be interesting to see what CC brings to the table. He can be a top 4 when healthy and he has been a healthy scratch for a long time. With a squad of #5-6s out there, he will get a shot to stay in once Grossmann and Coburn get back. Time to shine.

Flyers are starting to lack confidence in Razor, which is well overdue - it's about time the team figured that out

Emery's numbers against the Caps are pretty fugly. He has better numbers against the Canucks which might be when we see him next. I am looking forward to seeing how the Zep does playing in back to back games at this level.

The flyers controlled play after the first period, but most of the shots on holtby were one and done. Not many screens, only a few deflections, rarely crashing the net, and a handfull of missed opportunities.
