Nice impressive win tonight. Neuvirth now has back to back shutouts. Not an easy task to shutout the SC champs.

This.

Neuvirth is playing great enough to sit Mason for a spell. Nice 3-0 win and on we go.

I haven't enjoyed watching the Flyers this much since 2012.

Encouraging stuff. Laughton looks great. The powerplay is looking good and the PK was phenomenal.

I loved the breakaway he got where he was able to get past Brent Seabrook and draw a penalty - that was really good

Special teams makes a huge difference - 5 on 5 you want to play well and score goals but as long as the special team units are on their game, you can win a lot in this league because most teams are pretty close even strength

Had to watch on delay very impressed with the effort. Funny how that works not sure why it took this team so long to figure this out. Go on Hakstol...

While I don't think the Hawks came out with their A game (more like their B- or C+ game), this was a complete team effort and a dominant shutdown performance from start to finish. Many of our players stood out at times throughout the game. Gudas, Medvedev, Schultz, Del Zotto, Laughton, Couturier, White, Bellemare and of course the point getters or goalie just to name a few. That's most of the team.

Although he did have 30 saves, I don't think we asked Neuvirth to have a superhuman effort to get the shutout. He made a few timely, great saves, but that's what a goalie always needs to do. Chicago definitely came out a bit flat, but I thought we did a fine job of pouncing all over them and then shutting it down in the third, especially with the penalty kill.

Another nice win, that Saturday game is certainly in the past now. Coots was finally moving last night, not just floating, read looks like a different player under hakstol. I was glad when they signed gudas because he adds some toughness to the backline, but I'm very pleasantly surprised in how well he can move the puck at times, and he's not a giveaway machine like L. Schenn usually is. Keep it up Flyers!!!!!!!!!!

real quality game I thought. Just a sound performance, not a lot of unsafe stuff going on and it showed on the scoreboard.

Gudas and Manning look like completely different players than they were in the preseason. I think both of have looked very good in the past two games (penalties aside).

Very good performance all around. A little scrambly in the third but...look who they were playing!!!
I was shocked when I read the box score to see how little ice time Laughton and Read had. Gagner's TOI didn't surprise me because he doesn't kill penalties, but Laughton and Read do.

Glad to see G get on the board. Once he gets his first one he always seems to settle down and just flow.
