Game Thread: Game 3 tonight Bolts @ Habs MTL Leads 2-0

Here we go again bolts fans. 2-0 down, backs against the wall, can we get a win tonight? Lindy will get the start again, I imagine Palat will be back in the lineup, he is a GTD. The lines i'd go with tonight:

Killorn-Stamkos-Johnson
Palat-Filppula-Callahan
Brown-Pyatt-Kucherov
Purcell-Thompson-Panik

Hedman-Salo
Carle-Gudas
Brewer-Sustr

I think Killer, Stammer and Johnny have played well together, so keep them together. Val and Cally have done nothing, put Ondrej back with them and hopefully that gets them going, that was a good line for us a quite a while. I like Paquette but i'd put Pyatt in there, we need a spark and Tommy Pyatt is a workhorse plus he's more reliable and a better faceoff guy than Paquette. I'd have Sustr in there instead of Kostka, though he played quite well in game 2.

This team has fought through adversity all year. Wouldn't be the Lightning if they didn't put themselves in a hole to start the playoffs. I think we get a game back tonight and win 3-2. Go Bolts!

Jon Cooper needs to show more composure here. I understand he got screwed over big time on that no goal call, then having Stamkos get hurt, & then giving up the goal, but you can't let your frustration show so much, especially with a young team.

Wow! Down 3 games to none. Bad calls are bad calls, happens to a lot of teams all season long. No excuses, the first period the Bolts were horrible. What, 8 SOG? LMFAO!!!! WHERE'S THE F#*KING DESPERATION!!! Bullshit, they start out the game lack lustered and allowing the Habs to control that period. They need to be more focused & desperate than this! Lindy looked good for the most part. We're done, swept. I can hear the fat lady tuning up already!

I think we will win game four and game five then lose game six. The kids are getting playoff hockey now more but it's to late this season!

I'm kinda hoping for a sweep because there's no way back now. A sweep won't sit well with any of the guys, it would sting and it would make the hungry to get back as soon as possible. I'd let Gudlevskis start game 4, no harm in doing so, just give him a little more experience for the future.

Not sure what they were thinking on that play. It was a rookie ref from what I heard. Really unfortunate the game came down to that.
