Scoreless after one period - let's keep them scoreless and get on the board first!

Not a bad game for the Flyers, went up against a highly potent offense & pretty much shut them down. Also got a point against a pretty good team on the road. Don't be down on the team Flyer fans, thought they really showed something that could carry over in this one :suds:

Just saw the highlights of this game, maybe I gave the Flyers too much credit. Really the only player that deserves the credit is Steve Mason.

Mason was awesome.

Coburn and Macdonald made some good plays to break up scoring opportunities.

But everything else was dreadful. The outlet passes were non-existent and the Flyers ended up trapped in their own zone most of the game. When they did get out, they were WAY too fancy offensively. Shoot the damn puck.

Yeah looking at the highlights it was really all Mason. NHL Tonight gave him the first star for last night. Sid, Geno, Tang, & MAF had great nights last night but I agree that Mason was last night's 1st star. Not only 46 saves but tough saves as well.

We were outplayed all night on so may levels. In one stretch A Mac was stuck on the ice for almost 3 minutes. Great puck control by the Isles. They are better than I thought.

Coburn might have been the best player on the ice. He is getting back its nice to see as we will need him playing like he did last night
