There's no question that the Titans are ready to play some football. Problem for them is will it be the Titans that played against the Kansas City Chiefs last week or the Titans that played the Texans in Week 5 and gave up 52 points?

Derrick Henry had a career game last week. From all appearances, the Chiefs were not ready for him, much the way the Patriots were not ready for K. Hunt in Week 1. He's a bull and showed his toughness last week. But the Patriots have the film and a wee to prepare.

I don't think that the Titans will have anymore surprises.

As someone else said in another thread. The pats have to get off to a quick start and not relax. Throughout the season, the Titans have held opponents to slow, low scoring games. They do not respond well if they get down by 14 or more.

I think the Patriots will get off quick and score often.................Patriots 43 Titans 9

Bold prediction BK. I like it.

I think Harrison also plays a big part both getting some pressure on Mariota and containing Henry the beast.

It will look ugly at times for NE like most days. BB and MP scheme to make Mariota beat them. In the end Mariota turns it over a couple times which is the difference NE by 15+. I can't give them a 32 pt win like you. I hope I'm wrong though.

Pats 38 Titans 21 is my pick. I am not particularly rooting for you guys but frankly the Titans haven't the slightest chance in this one and are happy to have made it here in the first place.

Wow that is one heck of a call a 34 point differential.

I am going to guess Pats 31 Titans 17.

I also think Harrison will play a potential role in pressuring Mariota this game. Henry could be a concern at first, but I think by halftime he will be contained by the D. Rob G will probably be a factor in this game, since he will actually be thrown the ball this game. Tom will play better, and hopefully keep the INT to a minimum this game.

No I do not believe Mariota will score on another TD pass from himself.

Pats 30 Titans 23 is my estimate.

So the Pats have still not activated Mitchell, I am curious as to whether or not this will happen before Saturday

Reiss says he wasn't on the field at the start of practice today, sounds like all signs pointing to no.

They don't need MM if Hogan is healthy?

Gronk is healthy and rested for a change.

Time for TB to look at Cooks and Dorsett when Gronk and Hogan are covered. Don't forget we have playoff DA. He shows up big in the post season.

Personally I'd rather MM stay on IR so TB doesn't try forcing anything his way. They guy missed the entire season. Keep him shelved we'll see you next year Malcolm.

I would rather look at Dorsett cleaning out his locker, hell Brissett has better hands

Small sample size he's only been targetted 18 times. He's , made some nice grabs as well as dropped a couple easy passes. 67% I believe that's 2nd best behind Dola.

Don't write him off.

I think BB stops the run and forces MM to throw from the pocket, but we have to keep him in the pocket!!! We might actually see this team at full strength for a the first time in awhile.

Can't start slow on offense and I think this is where we use Lewis and Rex to move the ball. Let them get out in the open. Let that OL get out and hit people with the run. Then use the short passes to move the ball. Pats are famous for slow starts after a bye week, so I expect another. I think Gronk will have a big game. Tenn was unable to stop Kelce until he got hurt. Hogan will open things up and there were reports that Mitchell's game jersey was seen in the locker room.

Pretty simple on defense. Stop the run, keep Mariota in the pocket and cover your guy.

I won't write him off just yet, but I would surely like him to show me some consistent quality play. I know we got spoiled by Welker and Jules but I am very leery and weary of Dorsett.

I like to see what he can do if Brady targets him 10 times. My gut tells me he breaks one, maybe two for TDs and has over 100 yards. Can't target him one or two times a game and really get any kind of idea of what he can do.

No MM again today...I think we can call it a season for him. SO that means Britt and Dorsett gotta get it going.

I don't expect much out of Britt. He'll follow Cooks, Hogan, Dola and Dorsett unless TB has found some dynamic chemistry with him these past couple weeks? Maybe a few trick plays and a couple RZ plays. His height combine with Gronk is a tough match up in the EZ.

I'd be totally cool with him as a RZ package. Him and Gronk can add that size we need for some jump balls.

Six members of the team have been listed as questionable for the game, including three of the team’s running backs. Mike Gillislee (knee), Rex Burkhead (knee) and James White (ankle) make up that group.

...

Linebacker Marquis Flowers (illness), defensive tackle Alan Branch (knee) and defensive lineman Eric Lee (ankle/finger) are the others to draw questionable tags. Wide receiver Chris Hogan, who missed seven of the last eight games with a shoulder injury, did not receive an injury designation and should be set to go for the first time since Week 14.
