I don't like this OT... been pretty one sided. Sharks just sitting back and letting the Blues just take it to them. That can't end well?

The Sharks get the puck and miss on a pass to get out of the zone or they get the puck and gingerly skate down the ice and toss the puck on net. They have possession for about 10 seconds. The Blues get the puck and it's like a scene from the movie "300", "THIS IS ST. LOUIS!!!" They come charging into our zone, peppering Niemi with pucks, cycling, crisp passing and more pucks on net. It's no contest right now and as much as you all may hate to admit it, Niemi is the only reason these guys aren't just getting to their hotel rooms right now.

Seriously, how is this guy not busting his ass licking his chops seeing the puck just sitting there and an empty net waiting for it. Show some urgency, be stronger on your stick. No killer instinct. It was a decent defensive play but it just looked like a weak effort on Galiardi's part from where I'm sitting. Am I totally off base here?

I agree. On the replay it looked like Galiardi whiffed before the Blues defender lifted his stick. Weak play by TJ. Mitchell's effort has been weak sauce tonight as well. He had a few chances to clear the puck in OT where he was under no pressure but turned the puck over leading to Blues scoring chances. On the other hand, I've liked what the 4th line has offered in this game in limited action.
