It really was awesome. Great school. I don't miss having to deal with administration because they were insane about academics and all...but they prepared me beyond belief for college. I feel like I'm eons ahead of a lot of my classmates.

This is seriously the most entertaining scoreless game ever. Goalies are putting on a show. Pens gotta get down and dirty and chip/deflect one in. COME ON BOYS! I BELIEVE!

Meeting is over, hooray! I don't see what St. Louis was complaining about when Michalek's stick bloodied him. He was practically lying on the ice and Michalek's stick was at knee-level. You can't have a high stick if it's not enough above your waist.

I like the Penguins' game now, too. The game is in their hands now.

So what would the call have been? Slashing? Cuz it certainly wasn't a high stick.

I really can't shake this feeling in my stomach. It's just another one of those moments where I say "Why/how do I care THIS much?"

I just don't see how it can be. I mean, if you're down that low, at a player's knee level, and you get hit in the face with a stick, well, I mean, you should kind of expect it. Knee level and below, in my opinion, is puck playing area for sure. If there's no wording concerning being low to the ice for high sticking penalties, then guys lying on the ice with their faces next to the puck could draw them, and that's just dumb.

I've seen more ridiculous ones called...obviously it wasn't a high stick, and any other penalty needs intent. So basically, there was nothing they COULD call. I'd just rather not piss of St.Louis.

I miss being back in metro-Detroit, but at the cost of a better future, I can't turn down a relocation. Would have been great to be at the Joe tonight.
