Hi guys,

I am concerned and my reasons are.

Its game 1.
USM is not a lowly Piece of Crap team that can be overlooked.
Nebraska has dropped a game they should not have many times recently.
Lost David to draft and he saved our butts time and time again.
Concerns about husker linebacker and secondary replacements.

I dont know but USM played well last year. They beat a pretty high powered offense (Houston) last year and only lost 2 games. I hope you guys are right.

I have concerns, most being stated already.
Top concern is Nebraska's pattern of coming out confused Game 1.
Others. Sudden Miss is a very good team. Yes new coaching staff but this could go either way. Even losing several players they will still have good talent.

With that said a young quarterback and defensive line should be a great help for us.

On our side of the ball we have just as many questions. Will Taylor be any different this year? And we have our own changes on the defensive staff. Though I am positive long term these changes are positive but how will they effect us game 1.

With all that said I am gonna go all out and say we are going to come out and tell UCLA "Look out. You're next!". Skerz 42-3!!

They don't even have a quarterback yet and it's likely they'll start a freshman. Either way whoever starts won't have taken a meaningful snap. New coaches, changed offensive philosophy from the spread to a 1 back power run, lost skill players and glaring holes due to injuries and lack of depth mean this team cannot and will not hang from the get go.

Nebraska will do whatever it wants on offense as Southern Miss's defense won't be able to expose any weaknesses on OL that bigger deeper B1G teams might.

Hey it's game time!!! The rose colored glasses go on for the next 4 weeks.

No really I expect our d to step up this year meaning that they will shut down a USM and I expect our O to be able to use some of the skillz we have out there this year. Especially against Sudden Miss.

If it doesn't happen then with out progress through out the season (which I don't predict much of. From past history we drop at the end of the season) we will not be able to have any success in the B1G and I will stomp on my rose colored glasses and grind them in to the ground.
