Game 1 - here we go again!

The new season is here, Flyers @ Lightning is tonight.

I didn't have time to do predictions yesterday but I believe this team is heading right back to the Stanley Cup Finals and I believe they will win it all this year as they beat the Anaheim Ducks in the Final

Yes new season Tonight. Nice to see you Danny !. And I'm with you in thinking we'll get right back to the Finals. We have the same team with a lot more experience and Condra for Morrow. And Last season we had Nabakov for backup which did not work out for the first half of the season. Drouin is older and playing better so I look for a better record if that's possible.

I really think it will be the sharks vs the lightning in the finals and the younger lightning team will win it all this time around. I like the moves the sharks have made in the offseason and we upgraded from morrow to condra. our back up goalie right now scares me to death so I hope bishop stays healthy.

In the seasons first 3 0n 3 Garrison scores to seal the victory for the Lightning. Overall we played a good game

That was an entertaining first game and nice to come away with the 2 points. There were stretches of the game were it got a bit sloppy but I suppose this is expected in game 1.

I must say that the new 3-on-3 OT format is rather exciting, it was end to end and it's going to keep fans on the edge of there seats.

We are off to a nice start lets hope we push boston to 0-3 on monday go lightning! the drouin, stamkos and callahan line has looked good so far!

A nice 4-1 win against a young but improving Buffalo team.

I agree Todd the Stammer line looks good and Drouin his full of confidence of making plays. The triplets line looked good as well on Saturday, was holding my breath when Johnny went off with putting hardly no pressure on his leg.

Game 3 tomorrow and yet another early start with 1pm puck drop. GO BOLTS!!!

Well game 3 is in the bag and the Lightning beat the Bruins 6-3.

Lightning started off poor and as the game went on they found their legs and there played improved.

Boston scored all 3 of goals on the PP so the bolts need to fix that as that has been a weakness early on in the season.

Lightning play again tomorrow vs divisional foe the Detroit Red Wings.
