Kings looked pretty disjointed, puck bouncing, players spinning around looking for puck a lot

Yeah baby! Bowlby, what an AWESOME team your stupid dumb fuck ass has assembled.

They do have A Few more wins than I thought they would have, And the better teams in the league are struggling as well.... So yeah, that probably equals. He is safe and will get an extension lol

Team's lack of identity is seriously hampering any positive progression the team might build on....

Blake's "crafting" of this team clearly is going to set them back for years....

This is seriously a .500 team, they have had an easy schedule too. I'm not confident at all that they will make the POs.

Not much to say. I honestly have only been following more than watching. This team is just not inspiring in any way, and I find it hard to follow them with any passion. Every week there is new Jon Quick article, and I realize how much more coverage these guys get in major hockey markets. No wonder they win all the awards. I am in a fantasy hockey league and even then I just follow to be competitive.

Just looking at this team on paper. #1 goalie is Kuemper when healthy, but mostly been Rittich. Super inspiring. Top defenseman? Gavrikov? Forwards probably okay, but Lombardi building from the net out makes so much more sense when looking at this team. I actually think Spence seems to be improving, and Clarke has had his moments.

My honest take is I hope the wheels fall off this team and they really struggle. Lose Blake finally. This guy must have Epstein-level dirt on Kings ownership to still have a job. Around the Trade Deadline I would really ask Kopitar and Doughty if they want to take a run at a cup with a real team. As cool as it would be to have them in LA their whole careers, they could make real runs as the cup, and Kings could replenish some assets and avoid the Anaheim/SJ route of sucking for 6+ years. They can't carry this team. I would then probably just root for Kopitar and Doughty on their new teams. Get some assets for guys and blow this thing up. They wanted to take their shot at another cup, but the young guys did not progress as hoped (Also Blake's shortcomings, namely in wasting the years going all in with McLellan) and now the older vets are aged even more. It sucks, but it is what it is. The team only looks okay because their division is so horrible, and yet, even SJ now has their number. Even Calgary came into the year with an "Us vs the world" mentality and have been playing great. They got a new young goalie they're super excited about, and it's just a different vibe all of a sudden.

All that being said, even if you get assets, if Blake is still here, they'll just waste those too. So we are just preaching to the choir here, Blake just has to go. I am personally checked out on this team until that move is made. I think I already was, but just watching them play isn't even maddening anymore, it's just uninspiring and we're all just waiting for the inevitable slump where they find themselves outside looking in. Add in the whole Bally's to FanDuel BS. I cancelled my subscription because they carry like 2 out of every 3 games. And those games are just on NHL.IR with the only ones being blocked are the ESPN ones for some reason. But if I had the FanDuel subscription, I wouldn't get the ESPN games anyway. Then they took LA Kings radio off of AM and put it on iHeartRadio, which I actually went and found. But then this year, they went back to ESPN Radio, but only through the app, and it's pain in the ass to find, even now.

Said a lot of this in pre season among other things, totally agree about not going for assets while Flake is around to waste even more. I still try to watch every game but its painfull and you can tell by participantion on this board that the Kings suck and have little to even get excited about even in young guys or assets dispite their standings.
