Really think that this is a good move? The scouting reports I've heard about say he'll be better in the corners and Korean hitters usually see a .150 to .200 drop in their OPS coming stateside.
I guess this is probably a better signing that Bellinger (maybe) but I'm not convinced that it is a good signing at all.

He looks like he will be a sub-all-star, starter level player. Something similar to Angel Pagan, I suspect.

Decent player, but not a serious needle mover. At 19M aav, not a bad get.

Belli is still a bat that is better than anything we have (maybe including Lee). And he can play any OF, 1B or DH. If they are not concerned with what happened in LA, I am good with bringing him in as well.

I think the giants are in a bad spot. Obviously not getting Ohanti looks bad to some but he really didn’t want us so not much we can do about it.

We can’t just sit around waiting 2 weeks for Yamamoto to make a decision. Although sadly I think the odds are against us landing him now.

Lee is cheaper than Belligerent although they both have flaws, Lee could have been gone in a day or so. The fans are clamoring for something and this is what we got (so far).

Didn't think of that! I have my concerns about his abilities at the big league level but at least he isn't older and injury prone (let's hope on that 2nd one).
