Interesting info.

Not a lot of difference in #3/#14 and #4/#13
Same for #5/#12 and #6/#11

A number one seed has a 83% chance to make the sweet 16. Yet, Villanova has lost in the first weekend 2 of the last 3 years. If it happens again for 3 times within 4 years, it will border on statistically nill.

But we'll give it our best shot!

Villanova is one of the many heavyweights to "choke" in the tournament...along with Kansas, North Carolina, Duke, Michigan St, Kentucky, Arizona, etc. I guess you could throw Virginia in there, but I don't really consider them a heavyweight when you talk history.

Duke and UNC are actually really good as #1 seeds, especially UNC. They rarely go out early. Sparty too.

Kansas has a small history of losses as a #1 seed, but nothing like 3 losses in the first weekend in 4 years. That record will stand for some time...

Dude very rarely has the top classes.

He just gets the best players for his system.

Is that right?

Are you sure about that?

I don’t believe he gets the top class very often.

He does get the #1 overall player far more often than he has the top class.

His class next year is #5.

Last year was top because 3 players who played the same position decided to come. It was weird.

Doesn't it seem as though all four #1s have made it to the 'Final Four' every other year? In reality it's only happened three times.

Wow, even so, that's some serious chalk.

I think the pool of serious, serious ballers is much smaller in women's basketball. Once you reach the 8 seed level and such, the girls are probably aren't even that serious about it.
