You gotta know how to talk to the pheasants................I've found out over the years that they actually respond to Spanish

Then one of those little bastards comes flying out to say hello and BAM!

thickets brom, etc........

Too fucking hot.......

First spot we hit we had about 30 of them jump up about 50 yards ahead- cuz we had a rookie dog.....

And that was the only fucking birds we saw all day...... and we have prime territory in NE nebraska.....

Pheasant hunting doesn't get any better in Nebraska than Dixon County...

Oh don't worry........ I'll get my 3 tomorrow........

Should have known better than to take a rookie dog out on opening day........

After we walked through one place- we would have to pass 2 or 3 spots because other people were hunting them.....

And yes...... Pheasant hunting is easy as shit in a lot of areas in south dakota.............

South Dakota is known for it's pheasant population........ And While Dixon county is good- it ain't south dakota.....

On my way to Pierre, SD fishing, I average hitting 4 pheasant per trip with my pick-up.
I don't hit one in Nebraska, but once I cross Ft Randall Dam in Pickstown it's game on..

This is not an exaggeration..

I wanna shoot one of these and have it mounted.

Never seen one, but a friend of mine shot one last year in SD.

I haven't gone in years, but I liked pheasant hunting a lot better than sitting in a tree stand all day.
