But the real hope is we can draft a Darnold/Rosen/Jackson.. without having to take it up the ass in trade again. I still find it strange how some say, I hope we can draft (insert rookie) but Im hoping the team doesnt suck. The two are polar opposites.

I agree, Bake Mayfield looked great.

Cousin's had a poor game. So lets blame him for poor blocking, multiple drops by Pryor, Reed giving up the yard needed for a 1st down etc. It was ALL Cousin's.

Yes Kirk had a bad game.. so did the O-line and running game. The defense had an OK game. Bringing in a rookie and trying to play lets spend on free agents has failed for us multiple times.

Giving Cousins the time to actually improve would be better.. but that would not meet the instant gratification nation that Dan Snyder has built.

So sure, ditch him, hope we suck so we can draft the next wonder kid.. but dont bitch when we are in the same situation in 3-5 years.

They didnt want to give him a long term deal because they believe they can magically draft an elite QB. Its failed before, and will probably fail again. And considering they gave Moses a long term deal, they should be sucking Kirks dick even after this game.
