How does a conference have a losing record against itself?

I'd just get in the habit of posting the link right away. I know you couldn't do that on the jizzney boards. I think at least.

I got the link on twitter the other day. I know it is in there somewhere

but if a team leaves (i.e Miami), then their record goes to the ACC.

Hence, Nebraska's losing record against the ACC.

So, Miami should have no effect on the Big East vs the Big East.

Miami should be the reason the Big East is piss poor against the ACC.

Or Miami's win/loss record should be a part of the conference record during the time they were there? When did they jump to the ACC?

Most of Miami's record came as an independent too...so should the win-losses before they joined a conference just be ignored?

I guess Miami's wins against BE teams while Miami was independent should be considered the BE's record against Independents.

I'm not really defending the BE (I guess I kinda am), but this seems like adding Utah's wins/losses against the MWC while they were in the MWC to the PAC12's record vs the MWC.

Or maybe I just don't get it.:brick:

I don't think anyone knows. Did the big ten just pick up 800 wins? Does the big 12 get credit for all of ut and okla wins?
