The Winter Meetings are in San Diego this year Dec. 7-11. If I remember correctly the Rule 5 draft is usually done on the last day.

To me, it looked liked he hit .395 when we were ahead or behind by 3, and .260 when it counted.

Can't tell you the number of games I sat through back in the 80's when he'd go 3-4 and we'd lose by 5. Then the next night we'd win by one and he was 1-5.

Elvis with the clutch hit. This team isn't good, but they look much more relaxed. Whatever wash had going on, the team may have been picking up on those vibes too.

He's done OK from the LO spot since Bogar told him he was gonna play regardless of lefty or not.

As you mentioned, the team as a whole seems to be more relaxed without Wash, and I'm not trying to dance on the man's departure grave either. Just acknowledging a fact.
