I know everybody is sick of all this Jeter stuff, but it's the top of the 9th - kind of a nice scene with him out there...

I wasn't really sick of it. Frankly I'm not a fan of the Yankees one bit but I've always been a big fan of Jeter both on and off the field. I'm happy the game ended the way it did because I truly think he's a good dude and one of the game's all time greats. It KIND OF looked at that the pitch was grooved but you know what in that moment I was fine with it and still enjoyed the it.

Elvis with the clutch hit. This team isn't good, but they look much more relaxed. Whatever wash had going on, the team may have been picking up on those vibes too.

Before Wash left it just didn't look the team was having fun. Of course we know the losing combined with all the injuries will do that to a club but that dugout yuckin it up when good things happen seemed to have faded this season and part of that could have been due to Wash's personal thing.

I enjoyed hearing Bogar talk with Norm Hitzges on Norm's show this morning. Norm asked him about the possibility of Bogar getting the job and having both Maddux and Buechele on his staff. Bogar said he would welcome having both of them on his staff. He also mentioned learning from guys like Bobby Cox, LaRussa, and Joe Maddon.

Dammit I totally forgot and missed the Bogar interview with Norman. Hopefully the FULL interview will be up on the site or The Unticket.

I was totally sick of it.

But thought the way last not played out was terrific drama.

And Jeter is a good guy.

I'm listening to Norm now and he just said Harrison is going to start throwing in Nov.

I'm shocked.

He's honestly not even on my radar at this point.

Agree. There is no way I can get excited about Harrison pitching for the Rangers again until he is actually doing it and doing it well. I do not want any more pitchers doing their rehab at the MLB level for the Rangers. We put someone healthy in that spot a d guys like Harrison and Perez rehab in the minors until they are ready to go.

Are you saying Harrison was rehabing at season's start for 2014?

Anyone else?
