to be fair to klyper, suter was about to sign with detroit until parise swopped in and convinced him to go to minnesota

obviously, the bridges had already been burned earlier when filppula rejected contract extensions last summer.

According to Cap Geek, Wings have about 2.3 mil in cap space yet, and need to re-sign RFA's Nyquist, Andersson, and Smith. They can be 10% over the cap all summer and get rid of salary by waivers/trades/LTIR then if need be..
