Chiefs give Watkins 3 years 48 mil. 30 m guaranteed. As big of a fan as I am of him. That is a TON of guaranteed money for a WR who can't stay healthy.

The deal with Hitchens makes him one of the top off the ball paid LB's... A team already in cap hell I can't imagine they have anything else to spend here.

It feels like the Chiefs have no clue what to do the second they get any kind of cap money so they just throw it at the first person they like. They are that team that loves living paycheck to paycheck. That is their personal choice rather than to try and save up and see what happens.

I'm with you in liking Watkins but if the contract was actually based on what he has done in the league he would be making somewhere in the $8 million per year area not $16 million per year. This is completely a potential/draft position type contract. Those usually don't end well for a team.

I would say today the deal with Cousins looks that much better. Sam Bradford getting $20 million this upcoming season is highway robbery. There are players tweeting how upset they are with him getting paid this much with having done so little to earn it. So getting Keenum, a player that has actually done something in this league, for $18 million a year is a steal in the QB market these days.

Seems that the QB being left out right now is AJ McCarron. The man went from fighting so hard to get to FA to now having very few teams even wanting his services. The market is drying up quick for the big contracts. He might have to settle for a $7-8 million prove it type deal.

Buffalo probably still wants a QB. Maybe the Jets will sign 2.

Broncos have been talking to Suh. Low chance they would sign him but there are a lot of connections of why that signing would make sense.

Nick Foles. I think Foles just wants to stay in Philly and relax and be the backup. He won his Super Bowl, and he hasn't had success outside Philly in the NFL.

From the sound of things he really does want to stay with the Eagles. He almost retired from football and only came back because he liked the situation he was walking into. He is one of those guys that I think could walk away from football tomorrow and not regret that decision once because I know he has a lot of plans post football.

I wouldn't mind seeing Cameron Fleming and Preston Brown. DC says we are looking at T.J Carrie.

I don't think we are done.

Far from done. Free agency doesn't even officially start until tomorrow.

Broncos if they absolutely want can easily open up another $15-20 million in cap space to get a few more decent size signings on the books.

Just from what I'm hearing right now. Broncos really like the Off ball linebacker class so I would look for them to fill the hole with a draft pick. They could still bring back Todd Davis as he is liked by the coaching staff.

If I had to guess they will try to sign a 3rd CB like Carrie, DL player as they are talking to Poe, Richardson, Suh, and Wilkerson right now, and then sign a tackle or guard.
