Just took a look and Georgia had a little over 22,000 military, overseas, and provisional ballots in the November 2020 election. Would expect those numbers to be down some, but in the same ballpark.

Ossof just took the lead by about 3600 votes.

Perdue has a few counties left with some outstanding votes with a few thousand votes, but Ossof has possibly 20,000+ more to go where he is strong. And absentees arriving today may not be counted in some places.

Looking like Perdue would have to garner 75%+ of overseas/provisionals to win. Unlikely if that even would keep him in it.

Morning update for those of you who stayed up late shows Ossoff up by just over 16K with the expectation that most outstanding votes are from Dem-leaning areas.

By no means a sure thing yet, but things are certainly looking good for him and he just declared victory in a speech.

I'm by no means an expert here, but I think anything passed by a prior iteration of the House has to be re-passed now that the new members have been seated.
