My least favorite incoming freshman is definitely Lauren Boebart.
"...Boebert, the gun-toting owner of a gun-themed restaurant in Rifle, Colo." It's in Garfield County, named after the President who was, of course, assassinated.

Little on the nose, no?

She owns a mediocre restaurant where the theme is bring your gun, she has no degree or any involvement in public policy, and basically just won because she encouraged people to not wear masks and flauted COVID regulations in her state.

The COVID rate in her isolated mountain county is nearly 7,000 infections per 100K people, or slightly worse than crowded Queens, New York.

Cool.

Ossoff and Warnock both appear to be outperforming Biden's margins in the Blue counties and also getting more votes then they themselves got in November. Also, the red counties are showing turnout 10+ % below the total from November. :hope:

Both Ossoff and Warnock are leading (Warnock with a bigger lead) with 50% of the vote in.

The remaining vote outstanding looks to be mainly in the counties around Atlanta.

Not looking good for the blue, they better hope those votes around Atlanta and Savannah get them back in front.

When you look at the voting from the November the numbers are really lining up as they did prior. The Perdue/Ossoff race doesn't have that 3rd party candidate to take away from Perdue this time. And the other race when you totaled up all the Republicans vs Democrats the Republicans had over a 50% edge.

Also talking to my friend down there, yeah the enthusiasm is there but most of those Trump hating Republicans/Right leaning Independents are voting Perdue/Loeffler this time. :L
Too bad the Trumpers won't understand there was no fraud last time but the fact that there were plenty of Republicans/independents that hated him.

Data Scientist at the Economist calling it.

"Significant Dump" from DeKalb county within 45 minutes. Somewhere around 350K votes with 85% D in November from there.

Your last sentence is pretty much what I just texted my trump loving ex-boss.

Remember the % in is number of precincts finalized. Not % of voters. Some precincts have 10,000 people. Others have hundreds of thousands.
