Reminds me of something we were discussing at home over the weekend. NC is one of the states that regretfully has a law preventing local governments from removing Confederate memorials (technically it applies to all memorials, but the intent was clear) from public property without the state's approval, which they never grant.

However, what I don't know is whether the law forbids modifying the memorials. The idea was generally speaking to add an enormous set of breasts or a giant cock-and-balls to our Robert E Lee, Stonewall Jackson, etc. memorials. Make them so unpalatable to the shitheads that they take them down.

And even if they don't agree to take them down, a statue of Jefferson Davis with a monster set of titties seems like it would definitely draw some tourism money to town!
