Ian's career avg is .272. So you're wrong there.

And like I said, we saw how much things suffered when Ian went down Martin is a viable option. We'll see. But it's pretty foolish to act like we have so many other options out there.

I'm not wrong cause I didn't say that was his career average and his last two years say's he's a 250 hitter. He won't see 319 again

whats foolish is you getting your panties wadded when an opinion differs from yours.

My panties are in a wad because I express a different opinion from you? I find it funny that you see it that way.

Second, Ian is batting .277 this year. That is not .319, but its not .250.

No one said your stats were wrong, he just was saying that he didn't realize you were using both leagues since you didn't say anything about that

No need to be a prick about it

keep reading Chuck.....the prick isn't me.

Anybody who whines about the pop ups ignores the numbers. I'm sorry if you cannot handle somebody pointing that put.

Why are you on the Rangers board? Had enough of the Tony Romo cyst surgery recovery stories on the Cowboys board, or did you just come to the conclusion that the Cowboys season, again, is not looking too good?

318 in 08 is the only time he hit above 300
250 hitter the last two season, which were his best seasons is pushing that career average down by the season

but your right....I've been whinning about the pop ups from the start.

So you measure a players production completely by batting average? Come on pday you're better than that.

So back to back .250 seasons, even though he's hitting about .270 this season and he's still just a .250 hitter?

:wtf2:

you will have a point at seasons end, but just splitting hairs at this time
lets play the remaining two months and see where he ends up.
Maybe he hits 290

you decided who the rick was....I'd say that makes you the judge chuck

No you did that with your ego filled comments, I was just calling it like I see it,

But I still made no such pronouncements, just my opinion, remember there is more than 1 allowed

Maybe he does, but batting average is only a fraction of how you should measure a players production and that's all you're talking about.
