Kinsler is the least of our problems this season. Yes he's annoyed us in the past me included but he hasn't been the problem this season. Tho I heard a stat this morning from Norm where since he came back from his injury his BA is in the .240ish and is OBP is in the low low .300's and he's been caught on the bases 5 out of 8 times. Yikes that is not a good stretch.

As far as the caught stealing he's been screwed on some hit and runs at least a couple of times.

2011 he was 2nd in runs scored. 2012 he was 3rd in runs scored
obviously something was fitting

2011 was his banner year
2012 he was 6th in runs scored and Hamilton was 3 runs behind him hitting 3rd

Kinsler is better suited hitting down in the line up

Yeah, we saw how many lead off options we had when Kinsler went down. Martin is the only viable possible option and the only reason I see moving Kinsler is because we need his bat driving in runs.

I disagree that he's the only one

Elvis has had a bad year but he's still very much a consideration
kens is a 250 hitter with pop

Kinsler was 3rd in runs scored in 2012 behind Trout and Miggy.

sorry dude but I count the National League as well and our 3rd place hitter scored 3 less runs. That say's more about the offense than it does a great scorer from the lead off spot

Ian's career avg is .272. So you're wrong there.

And like I said, we saw how much things suffered when Ian went down Martin is a viable option. We'll see. But it's pretty foolish to act like we have so many other options out there.

situational hitting also has been a group effort with this team thus far.
Kinsler played the role well last night from the 3 hole. Cruz should never bat higher than 5 and 6 looks best on him

HaHa. Sorry dude, but I was only counting the league he plays in. So next time when correcting some one make sure you are clear about what you are correcting. Regardless, any time your leadoff hitter is at the top of the league in runs scored he is doing his job at leading off whether "your" eyes only focus on pop ups or not.

Cruz is dangerous enough that he gets Beltre some decent pitches to hit. AJ does not. We may be best served with Ian hitting third if Martin can handle the lead off spot.

cruz is an out unless it's a mistake pitch and he won't see the 3 hole again and shouldn't

1) I wasn't saying Cruz needed to be hitting third. I was saying he needed to be hitting fifth behind Beltre because his presence there does get Beltre some pitches to hit.

2) Cruz is hardly an automatic out. He's carried this te at times this season.

No one said your stats were wrong, he just was saying that he didn't realize you were using both leagues since you didn't say anything about that

No need to be a prick about it
