My laptop took a shit last weekend.... That is why I've been in "hiding".....

I will be back just as soon as my new one shows up... I lurk from my phone but dont post much... i shall be here sunday-wednesday as I'll be in omaha and borrowing a co-workers laptop as I will need it for meetings....

Mine is a company one.. I had to ship it off so they could see if they could get it fixed.... they informed me today they will be bordering a new one monday... then when they get it they have to put all our software on... then they will ship it to me..... I'll be suprised if i have it by the bowl game

Mine just started falling apart out of nowhere about 5 days ago. I really didn't wanna get another Dell, but it was my only choice financially since they allow for a payment plan..........oh well. I've got an XPS coming and those are usually pretty good systems. What I hate about Dell computers more than anything are the accessories........the batteries SUCK.

I took a shit yesterday while using my laptop.

I have a husker tv tray in my huaker bathroom downstairs for sucha occasion- next is a tv.... But for somereason I dont know if i should remove the vanity to put a tv there..

i have a dell inspiron and haven't had any issues with. Movies are great on this too.

yeah. vanity has to go. I'm thinking I could get a 19" flat screen on the wall of my toilet area. of course, the wife always bitches that I am going to get hemorrhoids from sitting on it too much.

There are certain Dells that are good and certain ones that are not. I had an XPS this last time and I ran it 24/7 for 4 straight years........it never got a break. I knew it was gonna break down sooner or later.........actually it still works, I'm using it right now (long story)........but it has begun to take a shit on me I should say. I know XPS systems have great ratings.

When I get out of college I am going to build my own laptop from scratch

I loved my first HP..... It was a freaking workhorse..... zv5000 or something like that- weighed like 14 lbs- but at the time it had the largest screen available and was just nuts when it came to memory and storage......

It had it's issue with the power jack, but that is the only issue it ever had- and it took 2 days to get it fixed for free each time it happened so no big deal...... I paid 1600 for that laptop at NFM in 2005........ I quit using it this spring because the jack was out again- and this time it was gonna cost 300 to fix......(out of warranty)..... I had a company computer. so I thought I'd fix it myself...

I've got that computer totally tore apart- and it's still sitting on a table in the basement, waiting for me to order the 3$ part and solder it on- the trick will be putting it back together after 5 months.....


I've had a panasonic toughbook from work- and it was great, but I accidently ran it over.... It wasn't as tough as they say they are....

The last computer I just sent in was a HP elitebook....... I hate notebooks- I want a big laptop...... something that I can beat up and not worry about.....
