YA know.. IM starting to think we are going to tag Kirk, he will sign it... and then we will draft a QB in either the first or second round.

Nothing like a $24M place holder to show what winning off the field is all about. :D

Maybe the next QB we get can show us what winning on the field is all about.

The one we had the past two years has shown more of that than the past 13 combined. BUt apparently he hasnt shown it enough.. so we might as well keep searching. :thumb:

Winning on the field is not 9-8 or 8-7-1, that's being average on the field. Ironically, it is fool's gold for a fan base that hasn't seen anything like it for as long as we have........Think about that for a minute!

Applications for compensation to the victims of BFS (battered fans syndrome) will be collected at: 1600 Fedex Way, Landover, MD 20785.

IN 2013 we finished 3-13, year one of the Gruden/RG3 mistake
In 2014 we finished 4-12 Year TWO of the Gruden Bob mistake.
In 2015 we finished 9-7
And last year 8-7-1

So I would counter that we did MORE winning on the field with Kirk last year alone than we did in the two years prior to him being the starter COMBINED.

That's one way to look at it. Another would be........after finishing 9-7 and winning the NFC East the year before. The Redskins pretty much did the same thing they always do. Win less games the following year and failed to make the playoffs in consecutive years for the fifth time in five attempts in the Snyder era.

Things that make you go hmmmm.

Why is it that the only posters who always seem to have Griffin on the brain. Are the ones who habitually accuse other posters of having some weird ass man-crush on Griffin...........Hmmmmmmm.

I hear Buffalo is prepared to play 2017 w a low level vet like Brian Hoyer rather than pay TT. I don't get it. He's not amazing but he's the best they've had in Buffalo in a looong time.

If wanting to keep the best QB we have had in 15-20 years makes me scared, then sure roll with that.

If not wanting to see the team repeat a past mistake in QB acquisition was cause by the cluster that was the 2012 trade, then scared would be an understatement.

But if people are trying to say that their over all negative opinion of Cousins is not at least partially based on the fact that we got burned by the other guy. I guess I will simply call Bullshit. Because every time some one throws out the old tried and true, well Kirk is no Rogers.

SO yea, I can admit I was scared by that mistake. Now I wonder if any one is willing to admit they were soured on Kirk the moment he got handed the starting job and nothing short of a Lombardi would heal that boo boo.

The cost would be off set by getting an extra first from SF and starting Colt McCoy. After all, if we finish 4-12 or worse, and fire Gruden.. we would be in prime position to draft Darnold. Hell we might even manage to simple EARN the first pick and not have to trade up for him. Its totally worth sacrificing the HC if it means we get an elite QB.

We could Hire Beville, draft Darnold and we would be set.

He has 67% of the yards not 76%. He also had about 2/3s of the TD passes and way more sacks. He did have less INTs but his percentage of INT is not much lower.

Out of that long list dad provided and Tyrod wasn't on there because he would have to be acquired ... he would be by first choice over all those guys.

I do not see him as a good fit with Gruden though.

I really have no idea who the QB is going to be next year. Flip an 8 sided coin.

I believe you're not counting rushing yards and I am.
