It happens every year, whether it's a stud who's been injured or a mostly average player who has exceeded expectations, we end up chasing...Fool's Gold!

Who are the leading candidates? Matt Kemp? Ervin Santana? Ryan Braun?

Who else should be put on this list?

Braun and Cano are my two biggest candidates for a bust.

Santana might be fools copper or bronze though.

Fool's copper. I like that.

Any of the one hit wonders from last year could disappoint. You would have to put Crush Davis, and Jose Fernandez on that list despite their upside. The injury riddled shortstops would also go on my list along with any SP drafted in the first 3 rounds (high DL probability)

I think it's Pedro Alvarez....between his home runs is long periods of time where his being sent back to the minors seems inevitable. (not likely but possible)

Unless he flat-out gets a broken leg, I have a hard time seeing Jeter not doing his very best to go out in a blaze of glory.

I agree about the walking wounded shortstops, though. Makes Ian Desmond look all that much better.

I still think he is Dave Kingman in disguise, attempting a comeback.

I am afraid I would have to agree on Alvarez. I got him mid rounds last year in my keeper league and I can't bring myself to drop him. I can seea problem with this in the end.:gaah::gaah:

There are few 2B that seem prime not to live up to there ADP. Cano has already been mentioned, but also
-Kipnis, Zobrist, Altuve...these guys all are capable of a drop off.
