Foles may be done for season

The team reportedly said he is out 6-8 weeks but does not need surgery. That puts him back at the Redskins game, the second to last game, at the soonest, and possibly out for the whole regular season.

I think that means Foles is done for the year, since I doubt they switch QBs in the postseason if Sanchez leads the team to the playoffs. Perhaps, if Sanchez struggles but the team still wins enough to be in the hunt, Foles comes back if he can get a regular season game in or two, but that seems unlikely to me.

Next Monday night will go a long way to determine how good Sanchez will be. He is more of a game manager QB anyway, so I think we'll stil win about 12 games and make the NFC championship if the rest of the offense plays well. I'm not concerned, but think that the Carolina game will tell us a lot.

I would not yet go as far as to say that the Eagles' offense is QB proof, but it is probably less QB dependent than most. And I - and I get a dirty taste in my mouth for saying so - I would not be convinced the Giants would be better than the Cowboys, based on personnel; maybe because of the play calling...

The rumor I'm hearing is that the Eagles are bringing Tyrelle Pryor in for a workout. Not sure if it's as a backup QB role or WR? This is very interesting because Chip tried very hard to recruit him at Oregon, Pryor chose tOSU. I'd be interested in giving Pryor a shot with this offense.

Sanchez is going to kill in this system. Guys, get away from "reputation". The jets are, and have been since Parcells left, a dumpster fire of an organization, especially in coaching qbs.

Sanchez has weapons, a top 3 oline when its healthy, a top 5 running game, a genius calling the shots and a defense that has been very good the last few weeks. As long as he gets the ball out quickly like he has been doing, hes gonna change the way the public views him.

Bold prediction:

Sanchez destroys the panthers and overnight everyone is gonna call him the best thing since sliced bread.

12-4 with a bi-week in the playoffs and we make it to the nfc championship game.

I don't think Sanchez is going to kill, but I think he will be as good as Foles and that will be good enough to go about 10-6 or 11-5 and win the division.

Keep the math in mind here: Sanchez can go .500 from here on out and still get to 10-6.
