Can't believe all the Flyers fans whining about the refs on here. The refs were equally terrible for both sides. Still can't believe Stephen Weiss received a game misconduct for saying something to a ref after Reid was awarded the penalty shot.

All in all, good game for Philly. Especially on the PK, I thought they did well and deserved the 2 points.

Yes. The refs being equally terrible for both sides means they did a good job. That makes perfect sense.

I don't whine about opposing teams getting the shaft from the ref because that's what the other team's fans are for. Granted it was Florida we were playing, though, so maybe we should have picked up the slack.

And I agree, I'd have to hear what Weiss said and if he'd been warned before arguing for a game misconduct. It's hard to believe anything other than pure hate speech directed at the ref would have drawn an ejection without a warning there.

The Panthers were tripped a couple times and it went uncalled.

Either way, our best player getting tossed for the last half of the 3rd period because he said something more than makes up for whatever calls you're talking about.
