Legal my ass he was staring at his number, within 3 feet of the boards & a cross check for good measure. Then he was throwing punches in the scrap with both his gloves off. Flyers should be on a extended pp even after the 2 roughing calls on the flyers.

This. He could have easily ridden him into the boards. No need for the crosscheck in the back 3 feet away from the boards.

Definition of a boarding penalty. The only reason he won;t get suspended for this is because there was no injury (Which is exactly the wrong way to look at it).


How he didn't get 5 is beyond me.

That is the kind of hit that they need to eliminate, there's no place in the game for that crap. Same goes for blatant head shots.
